...but that is ok because in Taipei there is always a convenient-store (7/11, Hi Life, Welcome etc.) no more than a couple of hundred meters away where you can buy yourself an umbrella for about 80 NTD (about 18 kr). From where im living there are at least 10 convenient stores that I can reach within 5 minutes. Apparently Taiwan has the highest concentration of convenience-stores in the world; almost 10,000 in an area of 36,000 sq kilometers (read more here-

I guess the Taiwanese have the right to their favorite saying "H
ěn fāng biàn" - "Very convenient"!

Conclusion:
Yǔ sǎn hěn fāng biàn! = Umbrellas are very convenient!
